| Irish student delegates to the Model United Nations were delighted to meet the UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan, when he addressed the Forum in Dublin Castle on October 14th. Mr Annan chatted with Kate Stewart, Vicki Taylor and their teacher Michael Allen, all of St Andrew's College in Booterstown County Dublin who host a MUN every year. They're pictured above with some of the finalists in the Forum's 2004 future of Europe competition for Transition Year students, who had also been invited to hear Mr Anann's address to the Forum. The UN Secretary General was escorted into St Patrick's Hall by the Forum Chairman, Senator Maurice Hayes (on the right) and the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Dermot Ahern (to the left of Mr Anann).
